The recently held Arise Fashion Week unveiled alot of things in the fashion/beauty industry. From the long list of fashion designers to beauticians, socialites and ofcourse fashion waanabes. Of all designs exhibited during the show, House of Nwocha really impressed the audience with her authentic collection that raised lots of applause. One of her designs is this lovely lace dress which I adore and hope to own soon.
Skip forward few weeks after the AMFW....
The April edition of WOW magazine unveiled it's new cover which featured Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh. It indeed is a beautiful cover.
Excerpts inside the magazine also featured the actress in various outfits one of which is the same beautiful all lace green dress shown at the Arise Magazine Fashion Week by popular Nigerian designer House of Nwocha.
Now, that's a plus!

Would You Wear This? - Burberry Prorsum Gold Studded Pencil Skirt
I recently found this picture of Kate Hudson wearing a Burberry Prorsum gold studded pencil skirt. Kate wore the skirt when she attended the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2011 runway show on February 21, 2011. What I've not come to understand is how she managed to sit all through the show but then a clearer look at the picture revealed that the studs are actually a bit sharp while also covering every 80% of the skirt.
So, I concluded it's either Burberry is weird (but we know that already - Burberry is exceptional weird and ingenious) or perhaps Kate Hudson enjoys discomfort...Well, maybe a little.

The Game, The Guests, Runway and All Fun At The Polo Tournament 2011
The 2011 Polo Tournament was fun, fun and fun. The tournament which annually comes up at the Polo Club, Ikoyi was filled to the brim with guests from all around.
With a standby DJ blasting non-stop music, ladies dressed in beautiful sun dresses and hats, guys in high energy and lovely urshers attending 24/7 in the VIP section the three day game was indeed a trip of fun.
The environs of Polo Club Ikoyi for those three days gave high energy fun to everyone that cared...and those men on the horses? Whao! They were exceptionally hot and thrilling to watch.
The show was closed on the evening of the third with a glam fashion show by Deola Sagoe.
